Troy Student Kiah Narotski Honored by Hudson Valley Community College Photo Available

Kiah NarotskiKiah Narotski of Troy, a 2009 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College’s Radiologic Technology program, was honored by the college with a departmental award.

Narotski received the Gertrude L. Dourdounas Certificate of Achievement Award, which is given to the outstanding graduates of the Radiologic Tech program. A Dean's List student and Second Chance Scholarship recipient, Narotski plans to continue at Hudson Valley to study diagnostic medical sonography. She was class secretary, a member of the Radiologic Technology Club and a peer tutor in physics.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate’s degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and also sponsors an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 12,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
