Clifton Park Student Amber Luke Honored by Hudson Valley Community College

Amber Luke of Clifton Park, a 2009 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College’s Mortuary Science program, was honored by the college with a departmental award.
Luke received the Appreciation for Outstanding Service to the Mortuary Science Department, which is given to an outstanding graduate of the Mortuary Science program. Luke plans to intern at a local funeral home. She was named to the Dean's List each of her four semesters at Hudson Valley and was a member of the Mortuary Science Club. Outside school, she worked for Clean Sweep, a cleaning company.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate’s degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and also sponsors an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
