Girls ages 7-12 can join the Hudson Valley Community College’s women’s basketball team for National Girls and Women in Sports Day at the college, Sunday, Jan. 18.
Participants will take part in a basketball fundamentals clinic with head coach Colleen Ferris and her team from 9 to 11 a.m., and then eat lunch with the team. All girls will receive free admission for themselves and a parent or guardian to attend the 1 p.m. game at the college’s McDonough Field House where the Lady Vikings will face off against Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
