Hudson Valley Community College Schedules November 10 Open House

Hudson Valley Community College will host an Open House on its campus for prospective students and their families on Saturday, November 10.
Anyone interested in full- or part-time study at Hudson Valley is welcome to attend the Open House. Admission and financial aid counselors will be present, as will representatives of the college’s four academic divisions: Health Sciences; Liberal Arts and Sciences; Business; and Engineering and Industrial Technologies.
Representatives also will be available from the college’s various Student Services and Academic Services offices, including Financial Aid, Athletics, Learning Assistance Center and Student Activities.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 degree and certification programs in four academic divisions: Liberal Arts and Sciences; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Business; as well as programs run through the Educational Opportunity Center offering certification programs in workforce and academic preparation. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 12,000 students, and it is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining.
