Middleburgh Student Jacqueline Charletta Honored by Hudson Valley Community College

Jacqueline Charletta of Middleburgh, a 2007 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College’s Dental Hygiene program, was recently honored by the college.
Charletta received two of the highest honors given by the Dental Hygiene Department: the Gerard A. Ripp Memorial Award and the Proctor & Gamble Award for Excellence in Preventive Dentistry.
An honor student at Hudson Valley and a member of the Student American Dental Hygienists Association, she was also named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. She plans to join the practice of Dr. Steven Oshins in Schenectady and continue her education through Empire State College.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate’s degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and also sponsors an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
