Trip to Mohonk Mountain House, Video Editing Course Offered by Hudson Valley Community College

A day trip to the Mohonk Mountain House and a 12-session course on digital video editing are being offered next month through Hudson Valley Community College’s Office of Community and Professional Education.
The Center for Creative Retirement will host a one-day getaway trip to the Mohonk Mountain House near New Paltz on Thursday, June 28. Participants will provide their own transportation to the resort, which is listed as a National Historic Landmark. Lunch will be served and there will be a behind-the-scenes tour of the Mohonk Mountain House kitchen. Cost of the trip is $47 and includes lunch.
“Introduction to Video Editing,” a 12-session course that begins Monday, June 4, and runs through August 20, will show participants how to capture video, edit footage, use transitions and output files onto media. The course also covers how to digitize photos for making slide shows and various techniques for adding audio to video projects. The cost is $277.
