Hudson Valley Community College to Host Instant Admission Days in April

Hudson Valley Community College will host two Instant Admission Days in April. Prospective students can meet with admissions and financial aid counselors and be admitted to Hudson Valley on the spot for the Fall 2007 semester, which begins Monday, Aug. 27.
The Instant Admission Day schedule is as follows:
8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, in the Guenther Enrollment Services Center on the Hudson Valley Community College campus in Troy. For more information, call the Admissions office at (518) 629-7309.
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the college’s Albany Extension Center, 175 Central Ave., Albany. For more information, call the Extension Center at (518) 463-4747.
Interested students should bring their academic records, and those wishing to begin the financial aid process should bring their 2006 tax returns as well. The college also will waive its $30 application fee for those who apply on Instant Admission Day.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate’s degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences, and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center.
