Adult, Kids Skating Classes Start Soon at Hudson Valley Community College
Programs for beginning adults, preschoolers

Hudson Valley Community College soon will begin its Learn to Skate programs for adults and children at the Conway Ice Arena.

Back again are two sessions of Mice on Ice, where children ages 3 to 5 can learn the basics of ice skating through fun games and activities. The classes are held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays, beginning Nov. 7. The fee is $55. Classes run through Dec. 12.

Adults interested in learning to skate can take advantage of the Beginning Skating for Adults course, which is designed for adults with little to no skating experience. Classes include 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of free skate. The course will run from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, beginning on Nov. 7 and wrapping up Dec. 12. The course fee is $85.
