Dexter Resident Megan Ebbrecht Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Megan G. Ebbrecht of Dexter, a 2006 graduate of the Hudson Valley Community College Dental Hygiene program, was recently honored by the college.

Ebbrecht received the Albert H. Stevenson Award and the Third District Dental Scholarship, which annually goes to an outstanding student in the college’s Dental Hygiene program. A President’s List student at Hudson Valley, she is employed in the office of Scott LeClair, D.D.S.
While at Hudson Valley she was treasurer of the Student American Dental Hygienists' Association.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 60 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 12,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
