Ballston Spa Resident Gina Ingraham Honored by Hudson Valley Community College

Gina L. Ingraham of Ballston Spa, a 2006 graduate of the Hudson Valley Community College Dental Hygiene program, was recently honored by the college.

Ingraham received the Hudson Valley Community College Dental Hygiene Memorial Scholarship and Senior Dental Hygiene Professional Achievement Award. Ingraham was named to the President’s List for all four of her college semesters.
Ingraham also gave presentations on proper dental hygiene practices to area children and certified aides at the Camp Terrace Residence for the Disabled. She plans to work in a dental hygiene clinical practice.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 60 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 12,000 students, and it is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining.
