LECTURE

Hurricane Katrina: New Orleans Levee Failures – Thomas Zimmie, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at RPI, discusses the levee failures caused by Hurricane Katrina which he examined as part of a National Science Foundation investigative team. Lecture held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in Hudson Valley’s Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium. Admission is free. (518) 629-7336.

Captain Squeeze and the Zydeco Moshers – The region’s ambassadors of zydeco return for their annual Mardis Gras show. Their energetic, joyful sound appeals to all ages and musical tastes, often inviting audience members to join them on stage.
