Kids just can’t be couch potatoes if they sign up for “Fit Kids,” a new 10-session course offered through Hudson Valley Community College beginning Feb. 4.

“Fit Kids” is a program of the college’s Health and Wellness Institute and is offered through the Office of Community and Professional Education. It is designed for boys and girls ages 7 to 12 who are interested in building healthy exercise habits in a fun, supportive and non-competitive environment. Class sessions will include circuit training on the college’s new Cybex equipment, games and other fitness activities.

The 10-session class meets Saturdays, 10 a.m. to noon, and runs through April 22. The cost is $175.
