Dec. 13 Information Sessions Set for Hudson Valley Community College Training Programs

Hudson Valley Community College's Workforce Development Institute will give potential students the chance to explore several new non-credit training courses at an information session on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the college's Albany Extension Center, 175 Central Ave.

Students interested in the new pharmacy technician program or the non-destructive testing courses beginning this winter can meet with those programs' instructors from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Instructors for the medical billing and medical transcription courses beginning soon will be available to speak with potential students from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Information also will be available for a number of other courses that are beginning soon, including Commercial Driver Training and the Photovoltaic Entry-Level Certificate of Knowledge.

Hudson Valley Community College's Workforce Development Institute offers a wide variety of credit-free training options for those looking to broaden their skills or find a new career.
