Hudson Valley Community College Announces Fall Credit-Free Courses

Try the Japanese healing art of Reiki; join a class for beginning adult ice skaters; explore your muse with a songwriting workshop. This fall, dozens of new credit-free courses will be offered by Hudson Valley Community College's Office of Community and Professional Education.

The courses include recreational and special interest topics as well as programs for professionals and classes related to personal growth and enrichment. New courses this fall include "Documentary Photography," "Adult Fitness and Weight Control," "Natural Skin Care," "Reiki," "The ABCs of Substitute Teaching" and "Songwriting Workshop."

The college's Center for Creative Retirement also returns this fall with a slate of courses and workshops on topics as diverse as birding and Southwestern pottery.

Registration begins Monday, August 8.
