Nassau Resident Margaret Santanello Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Margaret Santanello of Nassau, a 2005 graduate of the Hudson Valley Community College Nursing program, was recently honored by the college.
She was given the Seton Health Systems Award for Oncology Nursing, which was handed out at the Health Sciences Student Honors Convocation last month.
Santanello, who was named to the president's and dean's list during her time at Hudson Valley Community College, will be employed at Saint Mary's Hospital in Troy. She also was named to Who's Who Among Students in America's Junior Colleges, and awarded the Richard Dinn Memorial Scholarship and the Rev. Francis A. Kelly Chapter No. 38 DAV Scholarship.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 60 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
