The workshop will begin with a concert at 8 p.m. on Friday. Saturday and Sunday's sessions are scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission for the weekend is $50. Singer/songwriters Michael Bowers, Kate McDonnell, Ben Murray, Scott Petito, Siobhan Quinn and Leslie Ritter will provide a revealing look at the business of music on radio, television and film and how attendees can approach their careers and make them successful.
Songwriters and performers are encouraged to bring their ideas and lyrics-in-progress to the workshop for an intense writing critique, and then learn about getting their music on the airwaves.
