Hudson Valley Community College's Albany Extension Center to Host Open House on June 17

The college's Albany Extension Center at 175 Central Avenue will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 17. Representatives from the admissions, financial aid, continuing education and non-credit departments will answer questions. For more information about the event, contact Amy Catalinaat 463-4747.
The college's Albany Extension Center hosts both day and evening courses as well as a daytime GED program. The center is located on the fourth floor of the former Hauf Building at 175 Central Avenue.
Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; as well as programs run through the Educational Opportunity Center. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 11,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has graduated more than 58,000 students.
