Hudson Valley Community College To Offer Prep Course For Addiction Counselor Certification Exam

Hudson Valley Community College will offer an intensive one-day workshop on Saturday, May 8, for those interested in taking the upcoming New York State exam to become a certified addiction counselor.
The course, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the college's Workforce Development Institute, will cover the key areas for success on the certification exam. Workshop participants will discuss test-taking strategy for the oral and written parts of the Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) exam.
