Looking for something to occupy your child's time during the February school vacation?
Consider the Successful Communication day program, co-sponsored by Hudson Valley Community College and The Arts Center of the Capital Region, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., February 16 through 20.
Two separate programs will be offered for students ages six to 12 – "Circus Theatricks" and "Wizardry Camp."
Tumbling, juggling, acrobatics and the magic of circus performance will be explored in "Circus Theatricks." Performer Sean Fagan will return to The Arts Center for a week of challenging circus fun. Fagan spent two years clowning, stilt walking and juggling for the Ringling Brothers Circus.
"Wizardry Camp" will help students create their own world of magic and adventure. Students will invent and illustrate their own characters and lead them on adventures through The Arts Center.
Both programs will take place at The Arts Center, 265 River Street in Troy. Tuition is $210 for those with a New York State Certificate of Residence.
Programs are also scheduled for the public school vacation from April 12 through 16.
