AIDS Quilts on Display at CDEOC
Panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display at the Capital
District Educational Opportunity Center on Tuesday, December 2, from 8
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Sidman Hall.
Richard Hahn, secretary of the Board of Directors of Our Brothers'
Keepers Foundation, an AIDS services' organization, and Paula Symanski,
a freelance photographer, will be giving a presentation on the quilts
and their significance at 11:30 a.m.
The four twelve feet by twelve feet panels, each containing six to eight
individual quilts are part of a larger display that will be exhibited at
the Convention Center at Empire State Plaza the week of December 1 in
recognition of World AIDS Day.
