Information Nights at Albany Extension Center

Hudson Valley Community College will offer two information sessions and an instant admission night for prospective students at its Albany Extension Center at 175 Central Ave., Albany in the coming weeks.
The information sessions will begin with "First Steps to College," at 6 p.m., Wednesday, November 19. The event will provide a general overview of the college's academic programs and academic support services.
On Wednesday, December 3, the college will host an "Instant Admit Night" from 6 to 8 p.m. Prospective students can talk with admissions counselors, and be admitted to Hudson Valley. The $30 application fee is waived for those who apply during the Instant Admit Night.
A financial aid work session will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 10. Information and guidance on how to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form will be provided. Those interested in attending this event should bring their 2002 tax information.
