Public Skating Season Begins at Hudson Valley

Ice skaters can practice their figure eights for free this weekend as the Conway Ice Arena at Hudson Valley Community College's McDonough Sports Complex celebrates the opening of its public skating season with free admission on Saturday, Oct. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 26.
The ice rink will be open through March 2004 for public skating from 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, and noon to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Regular admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children, senior citizens and Hudson Valley alumni, faculty and staff. Hudson Valley students can skate for free with their student ID. Skates rental is $3 a pair.
