Christina Barber Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Christina Barber of North Chatham, a 2003 graduate from Hudson Valley Community College's Dental Hygiene program, recently was honored by the college.
Barber, a president's list student during all four of her semesters at the college, was the recipient of the Marilyn LaBrie Dental Hygiene Faculty Memorial Award, which annually is given to outstanding students in the Dental Hygiene department. She also was the recipient of the Senior Dental Hygiene Professional Achievement Award.
Barber also was the recipient of the Second Chance Scholarship, a merit-based scholarship offered through the Joseph N. Mastrangelo & Ralph C. Arnold Foundation.
Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
