Adrianne Saddlemire Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Adrianne Saddlemire of Knox, a 2003 graduate from the Hudson Valley Community College Early Childhood program, recently was honored by the college.

Saddlemire, a dean's list and president's list student for all four of her semesters at the college, was the recipient of the Early Childhood Club Award for Excellence in Teaching. She will transfer to Russell Sage College in the fall and plans to pursue a degree in education with a concentration in history.

Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 11,000 students each year, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
