Michelle L. Tummillo Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Michelle L. Tummillo of Saugerties, a 2003 graduate of the Hudson Valley Community Dental Hygiene program, recently was honored by the college.
Tummillo, a president's list student during her time at the college, was the recipient of the Catskill Mountain Dental Hygienists' Association Memorial Award. She also earned the Dental Hygiene Department's Senior Professional Achievement Award. During the Fall '02 semester, Tummillo was awarded the college's Second Chance Scholarship.
Tummillo is an active volunteer with Special Olympics and is a member of the Ladies Auxillary of American Legion Post 72.
She is currently employed with Dr. Gene DeStefano, DDS in Kingston, and with Dr. Debra Koehn, DDS and Dr. Sidney Penka, DDS in Saugerties.
Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
