Erin M. Sullivan Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Erin M. Sullivan of Haverstraw, a 2003 graduate of the Hudson Valley Community College Dental Hygiene program, recently was honored by the college.
Sullivan, a president's list student during her time at the college, was the recipient of the Dental Society of the State of New York's Albert H. Stevenson Award and the Dental Hygiene Faculty Award. She also won first place in the Hudson Valley Senior Dental Hygiene Poster Session and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Student American Dental Hygiene Association.
She currently is employed by Dr. Richard Donelli at RD Dental in Hartsdale.
Sullivan is a Special Smiles volunteer with Special Olympics. She was a volunteer tutor for freshman dental hygiene students and was employed by Hudson Valley as a notetaker for a hearing-impaired student.
Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
