Nicole Russell Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Nicole Russell of Schenectady, a 2003 graduate of the Hudson Valley Community College Human Services program, recently was honored by the college.
Russell, a president's list student during her time at the college, was the recipient of the Ruth Waller Human Services Award. She also has been named to Who's Who Among Students in Junior College.
Russell currently is employed at the Hallmark Nursing Center in Rotterdam. She volunteers at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center and is a member of the Balltown Wesleyan Church.
Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 11,000 students each year, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
