Clifton Park Resident Susan Grimm Honored at Hudson Valley Community College

Susan Grimm of Clifton Park, a 2002 graduate from Hudson Valley Community College's Nursing program, was recently honored by the college.
Grimm was the recipient of the Seton Health Systems Award for Oncology Nursing, given to the graduating student who has shown outstanding achievement in the care of cancer patients.
Grimm, who recently accepted a position as a registered nurse at Albany Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, was a president's list student for two years. She also was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa national honor society. Grimm was president of the college's Nursing Club.
Hudson Valley Community College, located in Troy, offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs in four academic divisions: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 10,000 students each year, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training.
