Workforce Development Institute To Offer Essential Business Skills Workshops this Summer

The Workforce Development Institute at Hudson Valley Community College will present a series of "Essential Business Skills" workshops this summer aimed at increasing employee productivity.
The comprehensive workshops, which will be offered throughout June and July, will train employers and their employees in such skills as sales and customer service, leadership and communication, motivation, computer and Internet skills, and e-commerce.
The workshops include: "Powerful Leadership," "Communicating with Difficult People," "Motivating Your Staff to High Performance," "The Bullet Proof® Office Professional," "Sharpening Your Selling Skills," "Everyone's in Customer Service!," "Microsoft Word," "Microsoft Excel," "Introduction to MS Publisher," "Essentials of PowerPoint," "Introduction to the Internet and E-Mail," "Create a Web Site Using HTML," "How the Internet Really Works," and "Fundamentals of E-Commerce and E-Business."
The programs will take place at the college's Albany extension site at 175 Central Avenue in Albany.
