Hudson Valley Community College's Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) will hold a bowl-a-thon at Albany's Sunset Bowling Lanes from 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13. The fundraiser will benefit the EOP Club, the EOP's Academic Achievement Scholarship and the EOP's Emergency Fund.
Bowlers will be sponsored on a per-pin basis. A previous bowl-a-thon, held in December 2001, raised more than $600.

EOP is an academic support program designed to provide supplemental financial assistance to students who are considered "high risk" and are in danger of not completing the educational process due to socioeconomic issues.
