Yoga Workshop at Hudson Valley Community College To Help Transform Stress Into Strength

Transforming stress into strength through yoga science and meditation will be
the subject of a six-hour workshop, Thursday, Feb. 28, at Hudson Valley
Leonard Perlmutter, founder and director of the American Meditation
Institute, will lead the workshop. Participants will learn an easy and
comfortable method of meditation along with breathing techniques that can reduce
stress, lower blood pressure, and increase energy and productivity.
The workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Meeting Rooms of the
college's Bulmer Telecommunications Center. The cost is $50 per person.
The American Meditation Institute is a non-profit educational organization
devoted to the teaching and practice of meditation and its allied disciplines.
