Men's Gospel Choirs to Join in Musical Explosion At Hudson Valley's Stapleton Theatre

Men's gospel choirs from at least four area churches will join to present "Gospel Explosion" at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2. The unique program is part of the spring semester's cultural affairs programming at Hudson Valley Community College, celebrates Black History Month.
The concert will take place in the college's Maureen Stapleton Theatre. Tickets are $8, or $5 for seniors and children under 14. Hudson Valley students will be admitted with a valid student ID.
The 20-year-old Mount Olive Men's Group, from Albany, will be joined for the concert by other local choirs from Oak Grove Baptist Church, New Bethel Church of God and Christ, Inner Visions Gospel Group and other special guests. "Mr. Marc," of 88.3 Gospel, WVCR-FM, will host the program.
