Hudson Valley Opens Up Resume Writing Workshops And Mock Interviews To The Public

Hudson Valley Community College is offering free workshops on resume writing and mock interviews to the community and college students. The workshops will be held the week of March 2. In addition the college will host the Community’s Job Fair on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. More than 50 area employers will be available to talk with prospective applicants. “Each year we hold the workshops for Hudson Valley students, but this year we felt it was critical that we offer them to the community at large. So many people are looking for employment and we want to help prepare them to find good jobs,” said Gayle Martel, director of the college’s Center for Careers and Employment.
