Details: The New York Times calls Sondheim “the greatest and perhaps best known artist working in musical theatre.” Among his notable works are “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “Company,” “Follies,” and “Sunday in the Park with George.” He wrote the lyrics for “West Side Story” and “Gypsy,” and has won eight Tony Awards, including the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, and an Academy Award for Best Song.

Darcy has been host of two nationally syndicated public radio programs and produced a public radio series about great women in science, as well as a documentary about the Capital Region during World War II.

Sonny and Perley were both influenced by exposure to jazz at a young age. They perform at many local venues and around the country and in Europe.
