Capital District EOC
145 Congress St., Troy

Local cosmetologists, including past EOC Cosmetology Program graduates, will judge hair designs created by students in the EOC Cosmetology Program. Hair designs will be modeled on standard manikin heads and judged in two categories, Bread and Butter (every day commercial style) and Fantasy (imaginative).

Since 1966, the Capital District EOC, a division of Hudson Valley Community College, has offered tuition-free academic and workforce development opportunities to economically disadvantaged and educationally under-prepared New York State residents. Many past graduates of the EOC Cosmetology Program have gone on to practice locally and own their own salons.
