Hudson Valley Community College to Host Financial Aid Workshop

||Hudson Valley Community College will host the first of four Financial Aid Workshops.

In a continuing effort to reach out to current and prospective students and simplify the financial aid process, Hudson Valley is hosting a series of workshops where attendees will learn who is eligible for financial aid and how to apply for grants and loans that can reduce the cost of their college education. Representatives from Hudson Valley’s Financial Aid Office also will be available to help attendees apply for financial aid online.
Hudson Valley’s Financial Aid Office does several things to make applying for financial aid easier for students, including providing access to computers so students can complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online during business hours all year long. The office’s staff also regularly visits area high schools to assist students in applying for financial aid.
Workshops also will be held from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15; 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, April 2; and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12.
