High School Students Get a Taste of Technology at Hudson Valley Community College

WHO: Approximately 200 students and teachers from six high schools – Cambridge, Catskill, Coxsackie-Athens, Cobleskill, Lansingburgh and Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.
WHAT: Students and their teachers will tour Hudson Valley Community College’s technology programs – including Automotive, Electrical Construction and Maintenance, Civil Engineering Technology and Construction Technology – as part of the college’s fifth annual Technology Day.
WHEN:

9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2004.

WHERE:

Beginning 9:45 a.m., 10 groups of students will visit each of the following locations: Amstuz Hall Rooms 101,112 and 108; Cogan Hall Room Rooms 146 and 153; Williams Hall Rooms 104 and 137; and Lang Hall Rooms 104 and 108. Tours also will depart from the Hudson Hall lobby.

DETAILS:

Hudson Valley’s School of Engineering and Industrial Technologies offers 17 degree and certificate programs. Students graduate with either an associate degree in applied science or associate degree in occupational studies, and the majority of students enter the workforce after graduation.
