Hudson Valley Community College to Honor Bank Executive as Distinguished Alumnus

||Kenneth B. Colloton ’74, Capital District/HudsonValley Regional
co-president of Bank of America, will receive Hudson Valley Community College’s
2004 Distinguished Alumnus Award.
||Colloton, of East Greenbush , will be honored at a luncheon sponsored
by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation and the college’s
Alumni Association. The event is being underwritten by Bank of America,
the Capital District YMCA and Northern Industrial Services of Albany.

The award, first presented in 1984, recognizes the professional achievements
and contributions that the college’s alumni have made to the community.
In nominating Colloton for the honor, Regina M. LaGatta ’73, a
distinguished alumna herself and senior vice president of the Capital
District YMCA, wrote: “Ken Colloton is an icon of achievement,
a proud and honorable illustration of the unlimited possibilities the
college presents to its students.”
Colloton has 28 years of banking experience – from international
to national and traditional banking to e-commerce. He is a past recipient
of the Albany-Colonie Chamber’s Spirit of the Chamber Award and
the Capital District YMCA’s President’s Award.
