Make an Appointment with a Librarian for Research Assistance

A librarian will assist you with finding sources using research databases, books, articles and Web sites. Writing assistance is provided by writing specialists in the Writing and Research Center and must be arranged separately from a research appointment.

If you need assistance immediately, come to the Library during an off-peak time when a librarian may be able to provide uninterrupted assistance on a walk-in basis. We suggest weekdays before 9 a.m. or after 3 p.m. Also, anytime on Saturdays. (See Library Hours)

Complete the form below, at least 24 hours before the research appointment is needed, to arrange for an individual one hour appointment with a librarian to assist you with your research project.

Once your request for an appointment has been received, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from either the librarian instruction coordinator or from the librarian who will meet with you. Please note, we do our best to accomodate one of the two dates you have requested. In a situation when librarians have previous appointments, or are not available, you may be requested to provide other dates to meet.
