Mapping H: Drive for Windows 10

This documentation will allow you to connect to your H: drive over a VPN connection.

VPN Connection

You must complete the Cisco VPN Setup and connect to the HVCC VPN before continuing.

Connect To Your H: Drive

1. Open a new File Explorer window by selecting the Windows folder icon or selecting the Windows start icon and typing explorer.exe and selecting Enter on your keyboard.
    
2. Select This PC from the left side menu.
    
3. Select the Computer tab from the top menu.
    
4. Select Map Network Drive.
   
   
    
5. Select the H: drive letter from the drop-down menu.
    
6. Enter the following path, substituting username with your college username.
   • \\hvcc.edu\homes\username
      
7. Check the Connect using different credentials then select Finish.
   
   
    
8. Enter your college email address and password then select OK.
    
9. Browse in File Explorer to your H: drive and confirm that your documents are accessible.
