Can’t View Videos/Images? – Allow MixedContent in Firefox (PC Users)
You may need to temporarily allow mixed media content within your browser to view various content types (ex. videos) within your online course. This tutorial will walk you through how to temporarily allow mixed media content in Firefox.
Navigate to the media content (ex. video) in your course
You will see a blank space where the video should display
Locate the Shield Icon next to the web address bar. The shield indicates that there is mixed media content that you need to allow, the browser is currently blocking it.
Click on the Shield icon to open the blocked content options window
Select the Down Arrow next to the text Keep Blocking to open the options menu
From the menu select Disable Protection on This Page
The course page will reload to the Announcements page
Navigate back to the mixed media content (video) in your course. You should now see the content displaying
