Chemical Technician Degree
The Chemical Technician Program at Hudson Valley Community College is
a two-year program that leads to an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree.
A Chemical Technician degree prepares individuals to work as technicians
in a variety of chemical laboratories, including the traditional chemical
industry, high-technology industries, and government and private laboratories.
The Chemistry track of the Physical Sciences degree will provide students the foundation they need to transfer to a four-year institution and complete a four-year degree in chemistry. It will give students an excellent background in their preparation for further advanced study in chemistry as well as their use of chemistry in a future career path.
