The popular Summer Educational Enrichment Program, Summer Academy, Athletic Camps, Technology Enrichment Program and Theater Workshop will return again this year.

High School Students Can Get a Jump Start on College

High school students finishing their sophomore or junior years this spring can now register for college-level courses offered at Troy High School this summer.

The classes will run for six weeks, from Monday, June 29 through Friday, Aug. 7. Classes will run five days a week. For a list of course descriptions and exact class times, please visit Students must register by Friday, June 19.

Golf for a Good Cause

15th Annual Hudson Valley Community College Foundation U.W. Marx,
 Inc. Golf Classic on Monday, July 20, 2009 at The Country Club of Troy.Please join us for the 15th Annual Hudson Valley Community College Foundation U.W. Marx, Inc. Golf Classic on Monday, July 20, 2009 at The Country Club of Troy.

The tournament is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start. The cost is $215 before June 2 and $230 after June 2. The fee includes greens fees, cart, foursome photo and individual four-shot swing analysis on a mouse pad, lunch, reception, dinner, and awards presentation. Tennis courts and pool facilities are open that day to golfers and their guests.

Tentative Schedule of Events
Registration: 9 – 11 a.m.
Shotgun Start: 11 a.m.
Reception, dinner and awards immediately following tournament.

The tax deductible portion of each golf reservation is $80. All proceeds benefit the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation.

Five Hudson Valley Students Honored

Five members of the Hudson Valley Community College student body were recently named as recipients of the 2009 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence.

Alumni Night at the Tri-City ValleyCats

Reconnect with old friends – and make some new ones – when the Hudson Valley Community College Alumni Association hosts an alumni night at the Tri-City ValleyCats game on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009.

Game time is 5 p.m. at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium on the Hudson Valley campus where the 'Cats will take on the Class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles – Aberdeen IronBirds.

Admission is $8, and includes a premium ticket to the game, a meal voucher for a hot dog and soda; entry for special alumni giveaways; and an Alumni Association baseball (given to the first 500 registered) and decal.
