View the Fall 2008 credit-course schedule and register for a class or classes today.

Day classes for the Fall 2008 semester begin Monday, Aug. 25, and evening classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 2. And tuition for 2008-09 academic year is $2,900 annually ($120 per credit) for in-state students.

You also can stop by during our in-person registration period on the following dates and times:

Monday, Aug. 18
Thursday, Aug. 21
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 22
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 23
9 a.m. to noon

Golf for a Good Cause

Please join us for the 14th Annual Hudson Valley Community College Foundation U.W. Marx, Inc. Golf Classic on Monday, July 21, 2008 at The Country Club of Troy.

The tournament is a four person scramble with a shotgun start. Spots in the afternoon flight are almost to capacity, but there are plenty of spots open for the morning flight.

The cost is $230, which includes greens fees, cart, foursome photo and individual four shot swing analysis on a mouse pad, luncheon, reception, dinner, and awards presentation. Tennis courts and pool facilities are also open that day to golfers and their guests.

Tentative Schedule of events is as follows:
Morning flight 8 a.m. Golf Classic
Registration for afternoon flight 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Lunch Noon - 1 p.m.
Shotgun start (afternoon flight) 1 p.m.
Reception 5:30 p.m.
Dinner and awards 6:30 p.m.

Alumni Night at the Tri-City ValleyCats

ValleyCatsReconnect with old friends and make some new ones when the Hudson Valley Community College Alumni Association hosts an alumni night at the Tri-City ValleyCats game on Sunday, July 20.

Game time is 5 p.m. at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium on the Hudson Valley campus where the 'Cats will take on the Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox - The Lowell Spinners.

Admission is $8, and includes a premium ticket to the game, a meal voucher for a hot dog and soda; entry for special alumni giveaways; and an Alumni Association baseball (given to the first 500 registered) and decal.
