The 2007 Alumni Night with the Tri-City ValleyCats, held on Sunday, July 15 at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, was a great success. This sold-out event had more than 1,050 alumni and family attendees, making it the largest alumni event in college history.

Athletics Schedules

The fall athletics season begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 with the men's soccer team hosting Genesee.

Community and Professional Education Fall 2007 Brochure
New courses join some old favorites as the college's Office of Community and Professional Education opens registration on Aug. 20. New this fall; courses on designing energy efficient homes, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, coaching youth sports, and more! We're also offering credit-free certificate programs in floral arrangement and interior decorating.

There's Still Time to Register for Fall!

On-campus day classes begin Monday, Aug. 27. On-campus evening classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 4 and off-campus classes begin Monday, Sept. 10. Tuition is only $2,800 annually ($116 per credit) for in-state students.

You also can stop by during our in-person registration period on the following dates and times:

     8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
     Monday, Aug. 20 - Thursday, Aug. 23

     8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
     Friday, Aug. 24

     9 a.m. to noon
     Saturday, Aug. 25

Foundation Golf Classic Nets More Than $64,000

Peter Marx, Keith Fergus and Drew MatonakThe Hudson Valley Community College Foundation's 13th Annual U.W. Marx Golf Classic, held Monday, July 23 at the Country Club of Troy, netted more than $64,000, a record for the event. This year the Golf Classic had more sponsors and more players than any prior Golf Classic. A total of $105,332 was raised through the event, with net funds used to benefit scholarships, programs, student services and facilities at Hudson Valley Community College. More...

Architectural Technology is Newest Academic Program

The path toward a career in architecture can now start at Hudson Valley Community College.

Beginning this fall, Hudson Valley will offer a two-year associate's degree in Architecture Technology, which will prepare students for immediate positions in the architectural field or allow them to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor's degree and become a licensed architect.
