A student will be placed on academic probation at the end of
a term in which the student's cumulative grade point average
falls below that which is required according to the Retention Table.
A student placed on academic probation must meet with his/her department

Plan prior to attending the following term. As part of the plan,
previous coursework, academic strategies, available resources and
course selection will be discussed. The plan represents an agreement
signed by both the student and advisor. In addition, a student
on academic probation may not enroll for more than 14 credits,
unless the student is enrolling in his/her last term to meet graduation
A student who raises his/her cumulative grade point
average to the required level, as designated on the Retention
Table, will be removed from academic probationary status.
