Life Experience Program
The Life Experience Program offers returning adult students an
alternative to traditional classroom study. Students may receive
college credit for knowledge that is acquired through work experiences,
both paid and volunteer. Students must be matriculated in a degree
In order to receive college credit, the student must submit a
portfolio, documenting and describing their college-level knowledge
as it relates to a specific course requirement. A departmental
evaluator will review the portfolio. A fee will be charged for
the evaluation. Life Experience credit will not be posted on the
student's transcript until the student becomes eligible for graduation.
