The annual Capstone Ceremony celebrates academic achievement of Advanced Manufacturing Technology students and the completion of their capstone models built during the past year. This year's model is a 5-cylinder working radial air-engine.

All students are recognized individually during the ceremony, and those with the highest GPA will receive awards ranging from $250 to $1,000.

The following program financial sponsors will be presented with capstone models produced by the students: Simmons Machine Tool, Gene Haas Foundation, Blanchard Industrial Supplies, Allendale Machinery Systems, General Electric Power, Benet Labs, Package One, Atlas Copco, WIDIA, Thermo Fab, Mastercam, DK Machine and the Chief Executives Network. One student will also be chosen in a drawing to receive one of this year's models.

Immediately following the ceremony, a tour of the new Gene F. Haas Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills (CAMS) will be available for all those wishing to attend.
