Online Degree Option
The Administrative Information Management and Technology Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree can be completed online without ever taking a campus-based course. Online students must have ready access to a computer with an internet connection. Students must be self-motivated, organized and possess strong time management skills.
An important note about tuition for online students who live outside New York State: Students residing outside New York State who take online courses exclusively are eligible to receive a college scholarship that will reduce the tuition to New York State resident rates. Steps to Enroll Online
Apply online using the college's WIReD system at www.hvcc.edu/application.
After you complete the application process, you will receive a letter of confirmation. You will then be contacted about placement testing options if testing is necessary. Finally, you will receive notification from the Business Advisement Center to set up an online, phone or in-person academic advisement appointment.

Important Additional Information
- Some online courses have required on-campus labs and/or proctored exams. Through careful planning with an academic advisor, this degree can be completed totally online.
- Courses can be transferred from other institutions. However, at least 50 percent of the credits for your degree must be obtained at Hudson Valley Community College. Please contact the department for details.
- Please note that all courses are enrollment dependent. Again, through careful planning with an academic advisor, online students can successfully plan their online degree requirements.
