Lady Vikings Dominate Boards En Route
To 76-28 Victory Against Schenectady

Troy, N.Y., November 14, 2001 – Hudson Valley Community College out-rebounded Schenectady County Community College, 54-18, and the Lady Vikings rolled to a 76-28 Mountain Valley Conference triumph at Troy's McDonough Complex. Second-year center Meghan Squires (Hoosic Valley H.S.) led Hudson Valley with a game-high 19 points and 11 rebounds. She also had three blocks.

Hudson Valley opened the game with a 10-0 run and never trailed. The Lady Vikings, ranked fifth in the nation among Division III junior colleges, are now 5-0. Schenectady is 1-3.

Eleven of the 12 players on Hudson Valley's roster scored at least two points. Carolyn Keeler (Cohoes H.S.) and All-American Lindsey Bradt (Bishop Maginn H.S.) contributed 11 points each. Keeler also pulled down 10 rebounds and had three steals. Bradt had five assists and three steals.
